Health & Safety Policy

Upsize Property Renovation Ltd recognises its duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and is committed to providing safe working conditions for all employees, subcontractors, clients and the general public.

1. Our Commitment
We maintain a proactive safety culture based on prevention, competence and compliance. All work is carried out in accordance with:

  • The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM)

  • HSE guidance and approved codes of practice

  • Site-specific RAMS and contractor safety requirements

 

2. Responsibilities

  • Management ensures safe systems of work, risk assessments and ongoing monitoring.

  • Employees must follow instructions, report hazards and use provided PPE.

  • Subcontractors must demonstrate competence and comply with site rules, RAMS and legal obligations.

 

3. Safe Systems of Work
We ensure:

  • Risk assessments for all tasks

  • Method statements for higher-risk activities

  • Toolbox talks and safety briefings

  • Emergency procedures and site induction compliance

  • Use of suitable PPE and equipment

 

4. Incident Reporting
All incidents, near misses and hazards are investigated. Corrective actions are implemented promptly.

 

5. Continuous Improvement
We regularly review training, policies and performance to maintain a strong safety culture.
