A kitchen is more than units. These are the regulations behind the work, and we give you the paperwork that proves it was done properly.

New electrical circuits and consumer unit changes are notifiable under Part P. A registered electrician certifies the work and you receive a compliance certificate.

Approved Document F sets minimum kitchen extraction: 30 litres per second for a cooker hood, or 60 l/s for an extract fan elsewhere in the kitchen.

Only a Gas Safe registered engineer may legally connect or move a gas hob or cooker.
How long does it take to fit a new kitchen?
Most kitchen replacements take around 5 working days from strip-out to final clean. One Upsize team covers every trade, so there are no gaps waiting for a plumber, electrician or tiler. Larger layouts with walls moved take longer, and we confirm the programme in your quote.
Do you supply the kitchen or fit one I have chosen?
Both are possible. We can supply and fit, or fit a kitchen you have chosen. We have fitted Howdens and Symphony kitchens. Tell us where your kitchen is from when you call and we will confirm what is included.
How much does a new kitchen cost in Peterborough?
It depends on the size, the units and worktops, and whether plumbing, electrics or walls move. After a free survey we give a fixed, written price that lists everything included, so there are no extras added later.
Do I need building regulations approval for a new kitchen?
A like-for-like kitchen replacement usually does not need approval, but some work inside it does. New electrical circuits must be notified under Part P, and a new extract fan should meet Approved Document F. Any gas work must be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer. We handle this and give you the certificates.
