Upsize Property Renovation Ltd ("Upsize", "we", "us") is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 15856524, with our registered office at 4 Blenheim Court, Suite 595, Peterborough, PE1 2DU.

What we collect and why
Enquiry and quote forms
Your name, phone number, email address, the type of enquiry and the details you give us. We use these to reply to you, prepare quotes and, if you go ahead, carry out the work.
Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Weekend Roof Clinic applications and nominations
The name, address and contact number of the person who needs help, an optional email address, and any details given about the roof problem or the person's circumstances. These details may include information about age, disability or financial hardship.
Lawful basis: your consent, given when you tick the consent box. Where health or disability information is included, we rely on your explicit consent. If you nominate someone, please make sure they know and agree. We will confirm with them before visiting.
Careers and supply chain applications
Your name, company or trading name, contact details, trades, location, team size, years trading, insurance, accreditations, CSCS and DBS status, and any document you upload, such as an insurance certificate or CV.
Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in assessing subcontractors and job applicants, and taking steps before entering into a contract with you.
WhatsApp, phone and email
If you contact us directly, we keep the messages and details you send so we can reply and keep a record of the work.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We only share it with:
- Netlify, which hosts this website and securely receives form submissions on our behalf
- Google, if you view the map on our website (see Cookies below)
- Main contractors, housing providers or clients, only where needed to deliver work you have asked for
- Professional advisers, insurers or authorities, where the law requires it
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not go ahead: 24 months, then deleted
- Customer and project records: 6 years after the work is finished, for tax, warranty and legal reasons
- Weekend Roof Clinic requests: 12 months after the visit or decision
- Supply chain and job applications: 24 months, or for as long as you are an approved supplier
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email alex@upsizeproperty.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
We do not use advertising cookies, and our fonts are hosted on our own server. We use one optional type of cookie, for analytics, and only if you click Accept analytics on the cookie banner.
- Google Analytics (optional): sets cookies named
_gaand_ga_*(kept up to 14 months) to count visits and see which pages and buttons (call, WhatsApp, enquiry form) are used. IP addresses are anonymised and we do not send your name, phone number or email to Google. Google Ireland Ltd processes this data for us; see Google's privacy policy. Our lawful basis is your consent. - Your choice: we remember your choice in your browser's local storage. You can change it at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
- Google Maps: the map on our website is provided by Google, which may set its own cookies when the map loads. See Google's cookie policy.
- WhatsApp, Facebook and LinkedIn: links to these services only take you to their own websites, which have their own cookie policies.
If we add analytics in future, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
