1. Our commitment
Upsize Property Renovation Ltd will not discriminate, directly or indirectly, on the grounds of any protected characteristic under the Equality Act 2010: age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex and sexual orientation.

- How we treat clients, residents and members of the public
- Behaviour on our sites, in residents’ homes, in our vans and online
3. Harassment and bullying
Harassment, bullying, victimisation and offensive language or behaviour will not be tolerated. This includes comments or "banter" about a person’s protected characteristics. Breaches will be dealt with through our disciplinary procedure, or by removing a subcontractor from our supply chain.
4. Serving residents fairly
Many of the homes we work in belong to older or disabled residents. We make reasonable adjustments to how we communicate and work, for example explaining the work in person, allowing extra time, working around care visits, and keeping access routes clear. Our wet room and level-access work directly supports independent living.
5. Responsibilities
The Director is responsible for this policy and makes sure it is followed. Every employee and subcontractor is responsible for their own behaviour and for reporting anything that breaches this policy.
6. Raising a concern
Anyone who feels they have been treated unfairly should raise it with the Director at alex@upsizeproperty.com. Concerns will be treated confidentially and investigated promptly, and nobody will be victimised for raising one in good faith.
7. Monitoring and review
We review this policy annually, together with any complaints or concerns raised, and train new starters on it at induction.
